Visit to the National Space Centre

On Friday, Year 5 visited the National Space Centre in Leicester. We had a fantastic time exploring all of the exhibits. We enjoyed learning all about astronaut training in the 360 planetarium presentation and during our workshop. We learnt about the different layers used to make the astronaut space suit and the children were intrigued by the MAGs (Maximum Absorbency Garments) astronauts have to wear on space walks!

The children were impeccably behaved and a pleasure to take.

Have a look at some of the things they got up to.
