We have had a fabulous time in literacy. We have been using the Polar Express to help with our descriptive writing.
Today we boarded the train to help us use adverbs at the start of sentences!
Here are some of our amazing sentences:
Rapidly, the powerful steam train climbed up the steep snowy hill.
Cowardly, the train driver stopped the old steam train from going up the hill, only because it was extremely steep.
Quickly, the gigantic train skidded through the mountains.
