Each year we enhance our Enterprise learning by working towards a whole school challenge. Last year each class participated in a 'Dragon's Den' type business challenge. Groups developed and pitched ideas to the 'Dragons' who then selected those that each year group would develop fully. Classes competed to see which could be the most enterprising and make the most profit!
The winning year group was Year 5 which made a staggering £185.05 profit from their book-mark and greetings card business.
Great businesses were developed by all year groups. Year 1 made Punch and Judy puppets, sold jelly and ice cream and ran seaside games at the Summer Fair. Year 2 got printing and made cards to sell and Year 6 sold loom band photo bracelets and bookmarks to fans of their end of year production. Have a look at these photos to see what the other year groups got up to!
