Striving to be the best we can!
Good evening! We hope you have had a lovely weekend and are enjoying the sunshine.
In the folders below, we have uploaded some activities to complete as part of your home learning. These are activities for you to complete in your outdoor area and are based on shape and bird feeders! Alternatively, the BBC are still providing free Bitesize lessons.
We will keep you posted with any news as and when we receive any.
Keep up the good work, enjoy your time together and keep smiling!
The Year One team x
We hope you are all well, staying safe and keeping busy. We have updated the folders with some home learning tasks that you could complete. Alternatively, the BBC are continuing with their daily Bitesize lessons.
We love seeing pictures of your home learning tasks, so please keep sending them in via ‘Class Dojo’.
If you have any questions or need anything, please contact one of us via Class Dojo, we’re more than happy to help!

The folders have been updated with some tasks for the week. They are based around caterpillars in English, time in Maths and we have set some VE Day activities too. Enjoy!
The BBC are continuing with their online lessons which lots of you are enjoying.
Parents, do as much or as little as you wish. Please do not worry about completing everything offered to you. Pick and choose based on what you child prefers in that moment. The main thing is that the children are happy, busy and safe.
If you have any questions or need anything, please get in touch with us via Class Dojo.
We miss you and we hope you're all safe.
The Year One team xx
We hope you are all safe, well and enjoying your time together. With the new 'school term' fast approaching, you may be thinking about home learning.
Guided by the Department for Education, from Monday 20th April the BBC will be offering six 20-minute programmes on air daily on BBC iPlayer and the red button. This learning will cover core subjects including Maths, English and Science, with guidance from experts and teachers from across the country. The content will be divided into age groups and BBC Bitesize online will publish a new Maths and English lesson for every child every day with more subjects to follow.
With that in mind we will be using this curriculum as a cornerstone for our learning during this time, alongside other ideas that you may wish to consider, below. The resources for these can be found in the subject folders (with the star icons). For more information about using Maths No Problem, please click on the 'Maths' star icon below.
Please keep in touch with us using Class Dojo. We miss you all terribly and would still love to see photographs of the work that you are producing.
Many thanks, enjoy and look after yourselves,
The Year One Team xx
