Striving to be the best we can!
Hello to all our new parents and children joining us in Year 3. We hope you have had a fabulous Easter break and are as excited as we are to begin the new term. Lots of fun challenges have been planned and we're sure that you'll enjoying working together as a team to succeed.
Our last two topics of the year are "Walk Like an Egyptian" and "Africa".
We look forward to sharing in your child's learning and welcome your support. Please see Diary Dates for forthcoming events.
Kind Regards
The Year 3 Team
Mrs Heslop, Mrs Pask and Mrs Graves.

Useful Information
Our PE days are still on a Wednesday (indoor) and a Friday (outdoor).
Homework is still given out on a Friday and needs to be completed by the following Thursday.
Water bottles are to have only water in and are to be taken home at the end of the day. These need to be returned the following day refilled with fresh water.
We encourage adults to read with their children at home and write in their diary.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Children need to know their 10, 5, 2, 4 and 8 times tables by the end of year 3.
Please practise chanting these at home.
We encourage children to use Times Tables Rockstars; they have their password in their diary.
Please help your child to learn their spellings (these can be found in their diaries); practise using Look, Cover, Write, Say, Check and by putting the words into sentences.
